Liz Sutherland entered the foster care system at the age of 13 and was separated from her siblings in the process. She “aged out” of the system and overcame the odds by graduations high school and launching a successful career. Liz wrote a book chronicling her story - “No Ordinary Liz: An Extraordinary Story of Life and Family”. She shares her story on the episode and then discusses ways that she is using that story to impact the lives of children in foster care. You don’t want to miss this episode!
