Your Story, Your Medicine is a podcast about the stories that shape us.
Taylor Jardine sits down with men from all walks of life to explore the experiences, challenges, relationships, failures and turning points that have made them who they are.
These aren't conversations with people who have it all figured out. They're conversations with men who have lived, lost, learned, changed and kept going.
Because you don't need to be famous, successful or an expert to have a story worth hearing. Sometimes the greatest wisdom comes from simply listening to another man speak honestly about his life.
Your story might be the thing that helps someone else understand their own.
This is an invitation to listen with your heart, take what resonates and leave what doesn't.
This is Your Story, Your Medicine, curated by Taylor Jardine.

Ben grew up in the pretty little surf town of Merimbula, a small house and a big family set the scene for a very active childhood.
His parents had their community roles which Ben took inspirational note of.
He left home early to study and do some time in the army reserves which eventually forged his knowing, that a white picket fence wasn't what he was after.
His life career of teaching, travelling and all that he learnt, is now an investment into his family.
He lost both his parents along the way and shares what it was like to see the impact a person can make, not only on his life but on others.
A great story of all the inner and outer workings.
I'll be sharing some of my reflections after the conversation, but until then, sit back and enjoy the story of Ben.

The Stories of Myles
Myles grew up in Barrel Australia , he spent all of his free time in the bush with his brothers riding motorbikes and living life on free range.
He suddenly lost his uncle at 13 and things took a turn he was not expecting.
Becoming a refrigeration mechanic to save the family business while navigating crones autoimmune disease. It eventually became clear that it was the stress from the environment and keeping in the silence that kept Myles sick for so long.
He left for a new life, first Northern QLD, then overseas adventures, discoveries and a whole new identity opened up.
Things got better, but it wasn't until some deep inner work where his life changed once and for all. This is a great story of one man finding his inner voice.
I'll be sharing some of my reflections at the very end of his story, but until then, sit back and enjoy the story of Myles.
