All those, and other more or less profound, or even spiritual life experiences, made me come to a strong realization that people’s nature is innately good and that tourism can be a suitable vehicle for social, economic, and environmental transformation like few industries can. It all eventually brought me to the Transformational Travel Council, which I joined as a first volunteer back in 2018 to support Jake Haupert in his big, yet considered ‘woo woo’ back then, idea! Personally, I am a rock-climbing enthusiast and vulnerability advocate, who opted for depth over distance.
