<p>让老外困惑的中文</p><p>本期内容我也附上了文字稿，欢迎大家查看</p><p>In this episode, I've also included the transcript, so feel free to check it out.</p><p><br></p><p>我常常看到一些外国朋友发的关于学中文的搞笑视频，</p><p>里面提到的中文把大家搞得晕头转向</p><p>我们先来听一下这一段视频的声音吧：</p><p><br></p><p>好了，大家有没有觉得很搞笑呢。</p><p>在具体解释之前，我想告诉大家的是，这些故意整理出来的句子，其实会让学习语言更麻烦，大家看个乐子就好了，不要去努力地区分和纠结。So just take them as entertainment—don't get too hung up on analyzing them.</p><p>我觉得我每期都要重复我的观点，</p><p>语言是一群人的共识和习惯，不要去把它拆解开来仔细研究</p><p>只需要重复听，重复模仿</p><p>Just listen repeatedly and imitate repeatedly.</p><p><br></p><p>好了，现在我来给大家一句一句解释。其实这些句子会给大家造成困惑，多数都是因为它们是语言中的双关语，puns</p><p>双关语就是一个词有两种意思，我相信在你的母语中也有很多双关语吧。</p><p><br></p><p>一五一十</p><p>是一个成语，从字面上看呢，就是我们数数的时候，以5为单位来数，5、10、15、20</p><p>它的实际意思是，把事情说得很清楚，没有隐瞒</p><p>我们来看个例句：请你把整件事一五一十交代清楚</p><p>Please tell me the whole story in detail</p><p>二五一十</p><p>是我们乘法口诀表里的内容，表示2x5=10</p><p><br></p><p>这里的块有两种意思，一个是量词piece，一个是指一元钱</p><p>豆腐一块两块</p><p>一块豆腐，卖两元钱</p><p>或者是，豆腐，一元钱买两块</p><p>豆腐两块一块</p><p>豆腐，两元钱买一块</p><p>或者是，两块豆腐，卖一元钱</p><p><br></p><p>一个半小时，可以是一个（半小时）one half hour，也可以理解为（一个半）小时，一个小时加半个小时，也就是1.5小时 ，那么一共是三个（半小时） 3 half hours</p><p>第二个“（三个半）小时”是三个小时加半个小时，也就是3.5小时，那么一共是七个（半小时）</p><p>这个表达在日常生活中也可能会引起歧义，但是绝大多数的时候，我们表示的就是1.5小时。比如，坐飞机从成都到北京要三个半小时。说的是3.5小时 3 and a half hours</p><p><br></p><p>这里把公和母放在一起，公表示男性 male，母表示女性female</p><p>公子是一个人</p><p>这里的公就不是男性的意思，公子是古代对男士的尊称 a respectful term </p><p>母子是指母亲和儿子，所以是两个人</p><p><br></p><p>睡下午觉，就是睡午觉 take an afternoon nap</p><p>睡一下午觉，睡觉睡一个下午 sleep through the entire afternoon</p><p><br></p><p>首先，没你好果子吃，从字面就能理解，表示不会得到好的结果，不会有好下场</p><p>例如：你要是在这里搞破坏，小心没你好果子吃！ You'll be in trouble.</p><p>那么“有你好果子吃”从字面上看，就是会得到好结果。但在实际运用中，通常就是反话，sarcastic</p><p>和没你好果子吃是一个意思。</p><p>你敢骂我，你等着，有你好果子吃！you'll get what's coming to you!</p><p><br></p><p>小时候穷，没有钱买方便面吃 I couldn't afford </p><p>长大后穷，没有钱，只能吃方便面 I can only afford</p><p>因为方便只要几块钱，小时候零花钱只有几块钱，买不起方便面。而长大了赚钱太少，只能买几块钱的方便面吃。</p><p><br></p><p>以前我喜欢一个人，a person</p><p>后来，我年龄大了，喜欢一个人待着 being alone</p><p><br></p><p>中国男子谁都打不赢，中国乒乓球谁都打不赢</p><p>中国男子足球，踢得很差，打不过其它国家 can't beat anyone.</p><p>中国的乒乓球却很厉害，其它国家都打不过他们 no one can beat them.</p><p>我们把句子补全，就是：中国男子足球，谁（它）都打不赢。中国乒乓球，谁都打不赢（它）</p><p><br></p><p>有一个老头哭了，那就是老头乐坏了</p><p>后面这个“老头乐坏了”是双关语，它可以表示老头很高兴。overjoyed 那为什么他又哭又笑？</p><p>其实是有一个东西叫“老头乐”，是一种很多老人会骑的小型三轮车，速度慢，主要用来代步和接孩子</p><p>所以这句话的意思是，这个老头的三轮车坏了，所以他哭了</p><p><br></p><p>冬天能穿多少穿多少</p><p>天冷了，把能穿上的衣服都穿上， 穿得越多越好 as much as</p><p>夏天能穿多少穿多少</p><p>这里强调的是“少”，能穿得多么少，就穿多么少 as little as</p><p><br></p><p>如果他在意你的话，那就会在意你的话</p><p>第一个“的话”和“如果”一起组成一个假设句子，不加也可以，“如果他在意你”是一样的意思</p><p>第二个“的话”和“你”连起来，表示你说的话 your words</p><p><br></p><p>你要是先到我没到你就等着吧</p><p>如果，男朋友先到了，女朋友还没到，男朋友就等一会儿 just wait for me</p><p>要是我先到你没到你就等着吧</p><p>如果，女朋友先到了，男朋友还没到，那女朋友就生气了，女朋友说“你给我等着！” 等什么呢？等着女朋友生气发脾气 you just wait (watch out—I'll be mad).</p><p>这其实是一些很小气的女朋友的情况。</p><p><br></p><p>好了，千万不要被这些故意放在一起来对比的句子所混淆了</p><p>就像我们学英语的时候，总是有一些老师和教材，把简单的事情弄得很复杂来教学生，让我们浪费大量时间去研究一些无关紧要的东西。 don't really matter</p>

<p>今天是我们的“一个词”专栏，jīn tiān | shì | wǒ men | de | yī gè cí | zhuān lán，Today is our "One Word" column.我们要讲的词是“加油”。wǒ men | yào | jiǎng | de | cí | shì | jiā yóu。The word we are going to talk about is "jiayou".从它的字面意思可以判断，cóng | tā | de | zì miàn | yì si | kě yǐ | pàn duàn，Judging from its literal meaning,它是指添加油，tā | shì | zhǐ | tiān jiā | yóu，it means to add oil.</p>
