庐隐，出生于1898年，死于1934年，这本书信集，是她与丈夫李唯建的六十八封书信。 李唯建是小有名气的清华大学生，1907年出生，比庐隐小九岁，当他们相识之后，立即对当时已经有名气的女作家庐隐展开热烈追求，他俩终于在1930年结婚，不幸的是，仅仅五年之后，庐隐就因为难产而去世，年仅36岁。
