About Zeepy Sleep Podcast
Some nights your child is overexcited. Some nights they’re worried about tomorrow, or can’t let go of today, or just don’t want you to leave the room. Zeepy Sleep is a bedtime podcast for those nights – and the ordinary ones too. Each episode is a calm, slow story for children aged 3–8, with gentle narration and soft soundscapes. Kip the Cat and Slumber the Sloth are there every time, and the stories are built around the feelings that show up at bedtime: worry, big excitement, the dark feeling scary, missing someone, a hard day that’s left a mark, or a child who simply isn’t ready to stop. The idea is simple. A child who feels understood settles more easily than one who’s told to go to sleep. So the stories name the feeling, sit with it for a moment, and then let it drift off with the rest of the day. This podcast is the wind-down. The app is the rest of the night. Every Settle story here is in the Zeepy app with no intros and a longer run of sleep sounds at the end. Then it carries on where the podcast stops: audio for falling asleep, for the early hours when they stir, and for the morning when it’s okay to get up. The first 12 pieces are free. A Bedtime Story for When the Clocks Go Back | The Lamp That Was Already Glowing
Published 16 Oct 2026 · Transcript excerpt
[…] Every cosy thing accounted for. Kip pads back across the warm floor, past the fire, past the sleeping cats, and hops softly onto the window seat again. She sits very still, her green eyes wide, and watches the sky complete its shift. Pink into violet. Violet into deep, quiet blue. It's happening the way it always does. The same colours. The same patient turn. Just sooner. And there, sitting on the window seat. with the cushion squashed beneath her and the cold glass on one side and the warm café on the other, something quiet rises in Kip's chest. If the evening didn't take anything away, if every warm thing is still here, still exactly where it belongs, then the evening coming sooner simply means there's more of it. […]
