<p>In wenigen Tagen wird in den USA gewählt. Der Wahlkampf zwischen Donald Trump und Kamala Harris nimmt die surrealen Züge eines Fiebertraums an. Es bleibt unklar, wer das Rennen macht. Wir versuchen, einzuordnen, was gerade passiert.</p><p>* <strong>Joe Rogan entlarvt Donald Trump</strong>: Trump war Gast beim grössten Podcast der Welt, der “Joe Rogan Experience”. Knapp drei Stunden lang haben sich Rogan und Trump in freundschaftlicher Atmosphäre ausgetauscht. An einer Stelle fragt Rogan aber, ob Trump jemals die vielen Beweise, dass Biden 2020 bei der Wahl betrogen habe, präsentieren werde. Da verschlägt es Trump den Atem, denn die Beweise existieren natürlich nicht. Der Scharlatan wird mit einer banalen Frage Schachmatt gesetzt.</p><p>* <strong>Eine Trump-Orgie der rassistischen Vulgarität in New York</strong>: Bei einer Wahlkampfveranstaltung von Trump hat seine Kampagne nochmals tief in den Bodensatz von Hass und Demagogie gegriffen, um zu verdeutlichen, wofür Trump steht und wie der Führerkult um ihn funktioniert. Puerto Rico sei Abfall, Kamala Harris der Teufel persönlich, und Trump bringe den USA Erlösung und Befreiung. Ein Schaulaufen des Horrors.</p><p>* <strong>Ist Trump ein Faschist?</strong> Nachdem Trumps ehemaliger Stabsschef und General John Kelly öffentlich erklärte, Trump sei für ihn ein Faschist, ist eine Debatte entbrannt, ob man Trump tatsächlich so nennen darf. Wir analysieren Trumps Ideologie. Migranten würden das Blut des Landes vergiften, man müsse zu einer mythischen Vergangenheit zurückkehren und die USA wieder grossartig machen, die Unterdrückung von Frauen, Trumps Besessenheit mit Diktatoren und Autokraten, der angebliche grosse Komplott eines “Deep State” gegen Trump und nicht zuletzt Trumps Putschversuch 2020 / 2021: Trump und MAGA haben faschistische Züge, die in ihrer Klarheit nicht offensichtlicher sein könnten.</p><p>* <strong>Die Umfragen sprechen für Trump — oder?</strong> Gemäss Umfragen sind Trump und Harris Kopf an Kopf. Doch in Wahrheit könnte Trump deutlich vorne liegen: In der Vergangenheit schnitt Trump deutlich besser als in den Umfragen ab. Und das Wahlsystem der USA, der Electoral College, begünstigt die Republikanische Partei bei Präsidentschaftswahlen strukturell. Die Wahlkreise sind die einzelnen Bundesstaaten und nicht die gesamten USA gemeinsam. Ein Silberstreifen am Horizont: Die Umfragen könnten zugunsten von Trump überkorrigiert sein.
