One listener wants more independence, but parents aren’t quite ready to let go.

Why do people talk ABOUT us… when they can just talk TO us?
From awkward encounters with strangers to some seriously funny misunderstandings, we chat about independence, overprotective families and what happens when people assume a disability means someone can’t speak, hear or make their own decisions.
