<p>このメタ解析では、角膜移植片を用いたCAIRSという新しい角膜移植手術が、円錐角膜眼の視力と角膜形状をどの程度改善するかを評価しています。14研究・442眼の解析の結果、矯正視力・裸眼視力・屈折（SE）・Kmax・高次収差などがいずれも有意に改善し、重篤な合併症は急性拒絶1例（0.2％）のみと報告され、円錐角膜に対して有効かつ合併症率の低い治療オプションと結論づけています。</p><p>Friedrich M, Auffarth GU, Soiberman U, Augustin VA, Khoramnia R, Son HS. <p>Retinal Age Gap（網膜年齢ギャップ）とは、AI（深層学習）を用いて眼底写真から予測された「網膜の生物学的年齢」と「実際の暦年齢」との差を示します。網膜年齢が実年齢よりも高い（プラスのギャップが大きい）場合、高血圧、糖尿病、脂質異常症などの全身性疾患の発症や、死亡リスクに関連することが報告されており、全身疾患の早期発見・予測する新たなバイオマーカーとして近年注目されています。今回、RAGと白内障術後の視機能との関連を調べた報告です。</p><p>Komatsu K, Masuda Y, Sano K, Ohira R, Mitooka S, Iida M, Ichihara K, Nishijima E, Oki T, Nakano T.
