《朱慶祥戲曲藝術傳承及示範計劃》透過粵劇口述歷史、現場實錄及示範演出片段，把這位當代藝術名家的資料、心得，透過科技，賴以保存。 現年95歲的朱慶祥師傅，生於梨園世家，其父親、姐姐、兄長俱從事戲班演出，在耳濡目染之下，早已對音樂、戲曲產生濃厚興趣。1940年，已出任劇團頭架（音樂領導）一職，至50年代初，先後為薛覺先、黃千歲、芳艷芬、紅綫女等粵劇紅伶拍和，聲名鵲起。 朱師傅以「知無不言、言無不盡」的態度，經常把音樂拍和與粵曲演唱的心得，與同業、後輩分享，受學者不計其數。 本計劃由粵劇發展基金資助、戲曲中心全力支持。

本計劃的壓軸一集，音樂領導朱慶祥博士將會帶領弟子衛駿輝，年輕演員陳禧瑜示範《西樓訂盟》的金線吊芙蓉慢板，年輕花旦陳禧瑜在朱師傅指導下，獨唱古腔粵曲《穆瓜腔》，朱師傅更以古老二弦拍和，絕對不容錯過。

第四集《粵曲拍和、鑼鼓運用與演唱》分為三部分。音樂領導朱慶祥師傅將會帶領嘉賓王勝焜、鄧美玲示範《金枝玉葉》嘆板，以及《陌路蕭郎》的正綫七字句中板；第三部分由莊婉仙示範耳熟能詳《帝女花之庵遇》的乙反中板，朱師傅的演奏細膩動人，充滿情感，值得再三欣賞。嘉賓莊婉仙更會分享跟隨朱師傳學習的感受，不容錯過。
