Day 7: Zoe Daily Devotions: 7 Jan 2026: Mercy Triumphs Over Judgement

DAY 7 ZOE DAILY DEVOTIONS 7 JANUARY 2026Zoe Daily Devotions is a Movement of Daily Bible Reading in One Year through the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit. This is a place of encountering Jesus through the word of God. DAY 7TITLE: MERCY TRIUMPHS OVER JUDGEMENTIt is blessed to receive mercy and it is also blessed to give mercy. It is by the mercy of God that we are not consumed or destroyed. It is God who by His mercy chose to love the world and send Jesus to it even while the world did not accept or acknowledge God.God’s mercies are new every morning. Every morning God is looking forward to load us with fresh mercies. Say this with me “I’m the one that God has shown Mercy”SCRIPTURE READINGa) Psalm 6b) Matthew 5:43-48c) Matthew 6:1-24d) Genesis 14e) Genesis 15f) Genesis 16TREASURE SCRIPTUREMatthew 5:44-45 NKJV44But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.love your enemiesThe command to love one's enemies is radical and countercultural. This teaching aligns with the broader biblical theme of love as a fundamental characteristic of God's nature (1 John 4:8). It also reflects the sacrificial love Jesus exemplified, particularly in His willingness to forgive those who crucified Him (Luke 23:34). Loving enemies is a call to reflect God's unconditional love, as seen in the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37).and pray for those who persecute youPrayer for persecutors is an extension of loving one's enemies and is a practical expression of that love. In the early Christian context, believers faced persecution from both Jewish authorities and the Roman Empire. Praying for persecutors not only seeks their transformation but also aligns the believer's heart with God's will, fostering forgiveness and compassion. This teaching is exemplified by Stephen, the first Christian martyr, who prayed for his executioners (Acts 7:60). It also echoes the prophetic call to seek the welfare of those who oppose God's people, as seen in Jeremiah 29:7.Benefits of praying for enemies:• Softens our own hearts, freeing us from bitterness (Job 42:10).• Invites God’s righteous intervention (Psalm 35:1-3).• Turns conflict into a stage for grace (Philippians 1:12-14).MEMORY VERSEPsalm 6:4 NKJV4Return, O Lord, deliver me! Oh, save me for Your mercies’ sake!PRAYERAbba Father, thank you for looking upon each an every one of us here with your mercy and loving kindness. May your mercy continue to triumph over judgement in our lives. Let your mercy speak on our behalf. We ask Lord that you would show us your unfailing mercy.Follow on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/kingdom_zoe_life/Follow on facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064939140582#Zoe #Daily #Devotions #Bible #Reading #Wisdom #Understanding #Revelation #Kingdom #Keys #Treasure #Scripture #Memory #Verse #Father #God #HolySpirit #Jesus #Power #Presence #Righteousness #New #Year #FreshStart #Blessed #Happy #Peace #Joy #Salvation #Restoration #2026 #Grace #Mercy #Goodness #God #Jesus #Devotional #Encouragement #Inspiration #Faith #Lifestyle #Christianity #Blessed #Presence #Favour #Honour #Deliverance #Patience #Love #Faithfulness #Worship #HolyGhost #Fire #Holy #Light #Miracles #Signs #Wonders #Spiritual

Day 4: Zoe Daily Devotions: 4 Jan 2026: Wisdom of God

DAY 4 ZOE DAILY DEVOTIONS 4 JANUARY 2026Zoe Daily Devotions is a movement of Daily Bible Reading in One Year through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.TITLE: WISDOM FOR LIFE.DEVOTIONAL• Wisdom is supreme and it is important to get wisdom • We need wisdom in order to know how to live our lives in a manner that is pleasing to God.• In today’s reading the book of proverbs tells us the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom • Reverent awe of the LORD is the indispensable starting line for every pursuit of truth. • Refusing that posture brands a person a fool—someone who dismisses the very wisdom and loving correction that God extends. Choose fear of the LORD, and you step onto the path where real knowledge, stability, and blessing flourish.🦋Day 4 Reading🦋 Proverbs 1:1-7 Matthew 4:1-22 Genesis 7Genesis 8Genesis 9:1-17 Treasure ScriptureProverbs 1:7 ”The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.“ ‭‭ The fear of the LORD• “The fear of the LORD” (Proverbs 1:7) means humble reverence that responds to God’s holiness with love, trust, and obedience.is the beginning of knowledge• “Beginning” is the foundation stone; without it everything built collapses (Matthew 7:24-27).• Knowledge here is more than facts; it is insight that sees life from God’s vantage point (Proverbs 2:6; Colossians 2:3).• By starting with God, we gain clarity on creation, sin, salvation, and purpose (Genesis 1:1; Romans 11:36).• Jesus ties eternal life to knowing God (John 17:3), showing that true knowledge is relational as well as intellectual.but fools• In Proverbs a “fool” is not mentally deficient but morally defiant—one who says in his heart “There is no God” (Psalm 14:1).• He trusts his own instincts (Proverbs 28:26), resists repentance (Romans 1:22-23), and is confident while heading for ruin (Proverbs 10:8; 26:12).• Scripture warns that folly is contagious (Proverbs 13:20; 1 Corinthians 15:33).despise wisdom• To despise wisdom is to treat God’s counsel as worthless (Proverbs 1:25).• Contrast: “Blessed is the man who listens to Me” (Proverbs 8:33-35).• Fools mock the very thing that would save them, illustrating 1 Corinthians 1:18—“the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing.”• Rejecting wisdom hardens the heart; Pharaoh’s story (Exodus 7–11) stands as a sobering illustration.and discipline• “Discipline” (or instruction) is loving correction that shapes character (Proverbs 3:11-12; Hebrews 12:5-11).• God’s Word is given “for teaching, for reproof, for correction” (2 Timothy 3:16).• Fools recoil from discipline because it exposes self-rule (Proverbs 15:5), but those who embrace it find life and honor (Proverbs 13:18; Revelation 3:19).Memory VerseMatthew 4:4 ”But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”“ ‭‭PrayerHeavenly Father, I ask that the Spirit of the Lord rests on us, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and insight, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
