With more than 45 years as a family physician, my experience as one of the lead physicians caring for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, my ongoing work mentoring medical students and residents at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, and my humanitarian medical work with Tibetan refugees, I’ve gained a unique perspective on modern health care. I strive to blend the science of Western medicine with the balance of holistic, integrative approaches to healing. Give the podcast a listen—I think you’ll love it." […] So remember, everything is not black and white. But they're holding back COVID vaccines for all children In about 11 states. So 11 states actually get the vaccines, the COVID vaccines, through a program called Vaccines for Children. And they buy it through the federal government. And they've been doing that for years and years and years. I won't go through which states they are. They also use that. Some are paid by private insurance, but most are paid through the federal government. And something like 50%, 35% to 50% of all the vaccines that are given in some states are basically through this program. […]
