Und deshalb ist Nachhaltigkeit eng verknüpft mit Digitalisierung und Neuer Arbeit – das ist die Ausgangsthese, um die es in diesem Gespräch geht. Arbeitszeit, Arbeitsort, aber auch Social-Nutzung oder Gerätenutzung – im Leitfaden tauchen die Themen auf, die in den Unternehmen eine Rolle spielen. Ganz vorneweg natürlich die Frage nach der Arbeitsortgestaltung, vor allem das Recht auf Home-Office, das in Deutschland gerade diskutiert wird. Und das im Übrigens im Gegensatz zum „mobilen Arbeiten“ steht, das rechtlich anders behandelt werden muss. „Man kann das nicht einfach anordnen als Arbeitgeber und sagen: ‚Wir machen jetzt alle mobiles Arbeiten‘“, sagt Britta Redmann, „und ich kann es mir auch genauso wenig als Mitarbeiter rausnehmen und sagen: ‚So, ab morgen arbeite ich mobil‘, sondern es braucht eine vertragliche Anspruchsgrundlage.“ Das kann seine eine Ergänzung zum Arbeitsvertrag oder auch eine betriebliche Vereinbarung.
