<p>Is there one true church?</p> <p>Or could Jesus have been talking about the different expressions of church in His parable about the wineskin that we read about in Matthew, Mark, and Luke?</p> <p>I'm willing to say that maybe Jesus Himself preferred the old wine, and hey, maybe it is better in the older traditions in some ways. BUT...</p> <p>There are just too many people who are new wine, who need new wineskins.</p> <p>I couldn't possibly pigeonhole myself and feel pressured to suggest that everybody needs to fit into old wineskins.</p> <p>Obviously this isn't an exhaustive ecclesiology, but what do you think about my take on this?
