A Priest Forever Episode 5 - Fr. Eric Silva
Thank you for joining us for this week's episode of A Priest Forever! This week we are joined by Fr. Eric Silva. Fr. Eric was born in Long Island, NY but his family moved when he was four years old to Trumbull where he grew up going to public elementary and middle school before attending St Joseph High School. The beauty and the wonder of the Catholic faith was introduced to Fr. Silva during his high school years and it was there that the seeds of his vocation to the priesthood were planted. After graduating from St Joe’s in 2008, Fr. Silva attended Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH to study psychology. It was while he was away at college that he encountered the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in a much deeper and lasting way as well as a community of Benedictine priests and brothers living out holiness in a way that was very attractive. Please enjoy listening to his story.
