Pod Engine builds an estimate from public signals about each show, counting audio and its linked YouTube channel together. Every figure has a high, medium or low confidence rating. They are estimates, not measured downloads.
For brands and media buyers
Choose the right podcasts to sponsor
Pod Engine shows how big each podcast is, how much of its audience watches on YouTube, and which brands already sponsor it. Compare shows in your niche, hear past ad reads, and build a shortlist before you spend.

YouTube audience
See how many people watch each show on YouTube
Some shows reach most of their audience on YouTube. Pod Engine measures the show’s linked YouTube channel and adds it to the estimate, so you see the whole audience, not just the podcast apps.
Audio-only, Behind the Business looks like a 9K show. It’s 281K.
Checking audio charts alone, you would have skipped it.

Each episode, matched to Apple Podcasts and its YouTube video
A podcast episode and its YouTube upload rarely share a title, a length or a date. Pod Engine matches them anyway, and tracks the video’s views.
- Watch the exact ad read or interview before you buy or pitch
- Send a client one link that plays, on the platform they use
- Views per episode, not just per channel
- Both links in the API and MCP

Frequently asked questions
Can't find the answer you're looking for? Reach out to our customer support team.
- How are monthly listeners estimated?
- Where does the sponsor data come from?
Pod Engine finds the sponsors in each show’s recent episodes and counts how often each brand appears. Sponsor data is in beta, so coverage varies by show.
- Can I hear a host’s past ad reads?
Yes. Episodes link to Apple Podcasts and, where Pod Engine has matched it, the YouTube video. You can also search transcripts for a brand name to find the episodes where it was read.
- Do you show YouTube audience for every show?
YouTube figures appear when a show’s YouTube channel is linked. Many large business, marketing and tech shows have one.
- Can I use the data in my own tools?
Yes. Every paid plan includes the Pod Engine API and the MCP server for Claude and other AI tools.
