<p><strong>Hello and welcome to A Quick Chai with…</strong></p> <p>We're thrilled to launch this podcast during South Asian Heritage Month.</p> <p>South Asian Heritage Month is being recognised in the UK for the first time ever, from 18 July – 17 August.&nbsp;</p> <p>It's exciting for us as British South Asians to have this space to explore issues relating to the South Asian diaspora. &nbsp;We hope this podcast reveals why South Asians should not be all lumped together and that the nuanced heritages, wants, desires, outlooks we have within our British South Asian identity can be distinguished and celebrated in their own right.</p> <p>For our special edition SAHM episode, we had our first Quick Chai With... :</p> <ul> <li>Mahamoda Ali - Head of Sustainable Development Programmes | Royal Academy of Engineering</li> <li>Ishan Cader - Head of Quality, Strategic and Stakeholder Engagement | Pearson</li> </ul> <p>This panel represented Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan and it made for some wonderfully diverse discussions as well as differing viewpoints.&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for listening!</p> <p>Ferhana &amp; Dina</p>
