This is a podcast produced by Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. We are calling this “A Season of Experiencing God” because this fall, all of our church's Grow Groups are walking through the Experiencing God study. As a church, our goal in doing this study together is for each person to come to know and experience and obey God in an intimate way (personal revival), which will lead us to corporate revival… which can impact our community and beyond! We look forward to all God will do as we study together.
It’s one thing to know ABOUT God, but it’s another to KNOW Him. How do we get to know someone? We spend time with them. We do things together. We talk. We listen. We engage. We care. We let them enter into our worlds as we enter into theirs.
Abraham Lincoln, for example, we know about him, but we don’t have a personal relationship with Him. The personal relationship makes all the difference.
