At 16 she experienced a violent assault at school that left her with a traumatic brain injury, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), many other underlying issues caused by the assault. In the four years since Adrienne has been an advocate for the POTS community and has been raising awareness for this condition that is often misdiagnosed.
