An Interview with Stephen Jenkinson

I recently discovered the work of Stephen Jenkinson and reached out to him to ask if he’d like to be part of this podcast. He graciously accepted. Stephen has worked extensively with dying people and their families. He is also a sculptor and traditional canoe builder. He teamed up Gregory Hoskins in 2015, and created the Nights of Grief and Mystery. Two records - Dark Roads (recorded live in Los Angeles) and Rough Gods (studio recordings) were recently released and I highly recommend you give them a listen. Stephen is also the author of Come of Age: The Case for Elderhood in a Time of Trouble (2018), the award-winning Die Wise: A Manifesto for Sanity and Soul (2015). Both are extraordinarily manifestos.
