تأخذنا د.شروق الأشقر، اختصاصية علم الحفريات الفقارية، في رحلة عبر مسيرتها المهنية، بداية من إلتحاقها، صدفة، إلى قسم الجيولوجيا في كلية العلوم وانتهاء بأخر اكتشافاتها في مجال علم الحفريات، الذي بدأ المصريون أخيرًا يحفرون أسمائهم فيه بعد عقود من سيطرة باحثي الغرب عليه. وبين البداية وما وصلت إليه طريق من العقبات التي نجحت في أن تتجاوزها أو تستمر في تخطيها لتثبت للمجتمع من حولها أنها اختارت الطريق الصحيح وأن النساء قادرات على الإنجاز في كل المجالات، حتى تلك التي لطالما اقتصرت على الرجال فقط.<hr><p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'> Hosted on Acast. نساء في العلوم: عالم بحجم النانو
فيلم وثائقي غير خططها للمستقبل من الطب إلى دراسة تكنولوجيا النانو بعد أن انبهرت بها وبتطبيقاتها. لم يكن سهلًا على رزان أبو الجدايل الانتقال من المملكة العربية السعودية للعيش مغتربةً في بريطانيا، كما لم يكن سهلًا عليها التخصص في فرع دقيق من فروع الفيزياء، هو علم «الإلكترونيات المغزلية». لكن ولعها بالعلوم منذ الصغر هو ما فتح الأبواب، وذلَّل العقبات. تحديات كثيرة واجهتها، لكن لذة الاكتشاف وروعة الإنجاز تنسيها كل هذا، لتواصل رحلتها على أمل تحقيق ذاتها، وخدمة مجتمعها، ووضع المرأة العربية حيث ينبغي أن تكون في ساحة العلوم.<hr><p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'> Hosted on Acast. نساء في العلوم: من المعمل إلى ريادة الأعمال
هي في الأساس باحثة في البيولوجيا الكيميائية لكنها قررت أن تستعين بما تعلمته في مجال البحث العلمي والأكاديمي لتساعد غيرها من الباحثين الراغبين في الانتقال بأبحاثهم إلى مرحلة التطبيق العملي وطرح أفكارهم تجاريًا. ركزت مارتين عبود، اهتمامها البحثي على الإنزيمات الأيضية المرتبطة بالسرطان وكانت ضمن قائمة فوربس لثلاثين شخصية حققوا إنجازات تحت سن الثلاثين في عام 2019، وحاليًا هي مؤسسة شركة متخصصة في البرامج التعليمية لرواد الأعمال والباحثين بطريقة مبسطة للراغبين في تسويق أفكارهم وإنتاجها على نطاق أوسع من جدران المختبرات العملية. تحدثنا مارتين في هذه الحلقة من بودكاست "عن العلوم" عن هذا التحول في حياتها وكيف استفادت من المهارات التي اكتسبتها في المختبر ونقلتها معها لمجال ريادة الأعمال، كما تعطي بعض النصائح المفيدة للراغبين في خوض تجربة ريادة الأعمال.<hr><p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'> Hosted on Acast.
