[…] And we need to have policies that help feed our kids with SNAP, with free lunch, With free breakfast, all of those things, there's no way the richest country in the history of the world should not be feeding our young people. Because we know that if we feed our young people and they have security, then they're more likely to be successful academically and then go on to have successful lives. And so the only way we're going to truly address and potentially end poverty and the lack of food is by investing in our young people and making sure they get fed. So I push our delegation and I'm supporting candidates for federal office who have those type of priorities where we're looking at how we're a better partner with our families, helping them be able to feed their kids.
