[…] There's some engagements at Aldi and Upperville. And then they're going to be marching up to Frederick. From Frederick, they go over to Westminster, to Manchester, Hanover Junction from Hanover, over to Gettysburg. The story of how they get to Gettysburg is kind of interesting because they're completely exhausted from these night marches. Men are falling asleep in the saddle. The horses and the men from the heat, they're dropping out. So they originally have something like 390 men or so. There's about 70 of the men who will lose their horses by the time they get to June 30. And then they estimate there's a lot more that lose out by the time they get to Gettysburg on July 2nd, meaning that their strength is probably below 300 at that point. […]
