[…] Are we talking about ARFID in this situation or are we talking about any neurodivergent child or a child that struggles to eat lunchboxes? It can be really tricky because ARFID is like the term that a lot of people know, they read online, they go, okay, well, yeah, I know it's not just fussy eating. I think it's ARFID and sometimes it is. Sometimes it might be paediatric feeding disorder and there's a lot of confusion, honestly, even amongst clinicians because they share some of the criteria for diagnosis shared between them. So it can be really tricky to actually tease out, well, is that our food or is it a paediatric feeding disorder or is it just like autistic feeding differences and maybe a developmentally normal stage of quite fussy eating?
