[…] The other thing that goes along with that is P, is to make it personal. Statistics are great, but people don't remember them. Oftentimes they get intimidated by them or they feel overwhelmed. I feel overwhelmed learning them because it means that things are huge and I don't know if I can affect that. But keeping it personal makes it real and makes it memorable. I remember the person I talked to and I remember how this issue impacted them. The other thing is to keep it educational. The faults is not when when someone that you're speaking with if they don't understand what you're talking about it doesn't automatically mean that they don't care about it even if they seem like they don't care about it To stay positive in the meeting, make it about educating the other person.
