Endülüs'te başladığı hayat hikayesi, Şam'da son bulmuştur. Ancak Vahdet-i Vücud, Ayan-ı Sabite ve Varlığın Tecellisi gibi ifadeler ile İslam metafiziğini ucu, bucağı olmayan bir mevkiye taşımıştır. Aynı şekilde diğer bir İlahi din olan Hristiyan düşünürleri de tesiri altında bırakmayı başarmıştır. </p>

<p>Tanrı gerçekten de merkezi otoritenin dile getirdiği gibi tek dili, diğerlerinden makbul ve kutsal mı görmüştür?
