Hello and welcome to Antiques Anonymous, the podcast where two friends who work in the antiques industry, talk about antiques, collectables, fine art and plenty more besides. Hosted by auctioneer Alexander Clement and antiques dealer Jon O'Marah, the chat will include top auctions, top lots, top tips and plenty of inside intel, anecdotes and maybe even some gossip. If you are an antiques geek, like Alexander and Jon, then join them for their rambling and sometimes incoherent podcast.

In this episode, Jon and Alexander tackle some juicy antiques issues but (spoiler alert) utterly fail to get around to the main topic as promised - values and valuations. Well, maybe next time. But they do, however, alight on the use and misuse of A.I. in the antiques world, the thorny issue of postage and packing, lose the plot with a seemingly cryptic email and then go on to talk about paintings, toys, drums and guns. As well as noodles.

Bikinis and Curry Sauce
What has Jon swapped out his faithful VW Transporter for? Who are SOFAA and do they have anything to do with couches? Who would pay £1,200,000 for a packet of curry sauce? These questions and more may or may not be satisfactorily answered in this episode as your antiques-addicted hosts ramble through a range of topics and play a few games along the way. Clearly Jon's tolerance of Alexander's love of puns is wearing thin, but he perks up significantly at the sight of bikini-clad maidens posing either side of a ludicrously expensive and historically questionable piece of furniture. What the heck-fire is going on? You'll have to listen and find out.

Losing Your Marbles in Beverley
This episode is driven by listener emails, taking Alexander and Jon on a ramble through the issues of 'antiques flight' - English and French antiques leaving our shores by the shipload and ending up in America - through to the allure of handmade marbles. Along the way there's a return of the ATG Pun Down and in 'Did They Get It Wrong', Jon airs his opinion on toy dealers and collectors. Spoiler - it's not glowing!
