What It's Like To Be A Jew Right Now Dealing With Antisemitism

Are You Afraid of the Talk shines a light on the conversations we keep in the dark. This episode Beth speaks with Amalia and Dave about what it’s like to be a Jew right now dealing with antisemitism. We discuss how the Israel/Palestine war affects Jews in the diaspora, how we feel betrayed by the progressive party, our fears living as Jews in America, and what we love about being Jewish. Tune in to really understand what Jews are going through and where we are coming from, a conversation that feels like people are avoiding and/or that is just drowned out in our echo chambers.

Episode 8: Fear Of Going Against The Grain and Living Authentically

Are You Afraid of the Talk shines a light on the conversations we keep in the dark. This episode we talk with Jaclyn Michelle, a Birth Chart Alchemist, Practitioner, and Teacher, who practices radically compassionate self-inquiry with herself and clients to do the inner work needed to shift our outer world. Jaclyn discusses the struggle she experienced talking about going against the grain to live her most authentic life. Jaclyn touches on how living a perfect life on paper caused a lot of personal discomfort and how trying to please everyone was the biggest let down for herself. As Jaclyn did the inner work through tools like astrology and human design to figure out who she is and what she genuinely wants and needs, she was able to carve out a life that brings joy and authenticity. Jaclyn does an excellent job discussing how she learned to be okay with not everyone being happy or understanding her choices as long as she’s living in alignment with her most authentic self.
