<p>Melbourne based <strong>ARIA Club Chart DJ</strong>, Argonaut has spent the last seventeen years spinning across the city's clubs lifting roofs and turning up dance events with his brand of high-energy vocal commercial dance and house music.</p><p><br></p><p>Currently holding residencies at iconic queer venues <strong>POOF DOOF</strong> and <strong>Sircuit</strong>, Argonaut has played sets for countless Australian LGBTQI+ events across the country and toured Asia in 2023. Within the festival scene, Argonaut has played epic shows at queer stages at <strong>Splendour In The Grass,</strong> <strong>Pitch Music & Arts</strong>, <strong>Beyond The Valley, Festival X, Wine Machine, Dream Machine</strong> and <strong>Chill Out festivals</strong>. His most recent career highlight headlining the forecourt stage at the <strong>Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Party </strong>playing to over 5000 party goers in February 2023.<br><br></p><p>Over the last ten years he has been the musical face as well as co-producer of the “<strong>Bar Kylie</strong>” dance party which has evolved from a small scale pop-up dance party to a nationally touring event, and a premiere event at each Mardi Gras. This side project lead to residencies at <strong>Arts Centre Melbourne</strong> and Geelong Arts Centre during their Kylie Minogue fashion exhibits.</p><p><br></p><p>As a producer, Argonaut has built a career on reworking pop hits into club-ready cuts for his dance floors, providing unique and signature Argonaut moments that have set his sound apart. His unofficial bootlegs for artists like Dua Lipa, Scissor Sisters, Kim Petras - and of course Kylie - have been streamed over 500,000 times and played far and wide by queer DJ peers locally and across the pond. His debut release “Fame” was released in June 2022 on <strong>Extrovert Records</strong>, under the iconic Australian dance label <strong>Vicious Recordings</strong>.<br><br></p><p>Faced with the COVID lockdowns in 2020 Argonaut quickly took his live shows and that of Bar Kylie to an online arena.
