¡Qué emocionante el viaje que hemos emprendido juntos a lo largo de esta temporada de Espacios comunes! Hemos aprendido que son más que lugares que habitamos, pues son un derecho fundamental, como el tejido que une a nuestras comunidades, el escenario donde se desarrolla la vida cotidiana, donde se tejen historias y se forjan vínculos de afectos. Creemos que la disciplina de la arquitectura lleva consigo la responsabilidad de moldear estos espacios comunes, donde convergen las vidas de millones de personas. Y en este sentido, ¿qué papel juega la paz en este vasto lienzo de construcción y diseño, especialmente en Colombia? <br /><br />La respuesta reside en comprender que la paz no es solo la ausencia de conflicto, sino también la presencia activa de justicia, equidad y cohesión social. En nuestras ciudades y en nuestros campos, la paz se refleja en la calidad de los espacios públicos, en la capacidad de estos lugares para promover la inclusión y el bienestar de todos. T4E15: Diseños impermanentes en espacios comunales con Alejandro Saldarriaga - ALSAR Atelier

T4E14: Set bridges to connect the community with Edla, Miguel, Joao - Atelier Hurbanos
In this episode, architect Edla from Angola, architect Joao from Brazil, and geographer Miguel from Angola took us on a narrative journey to learn about the processes of Atelier Hurbanos in Luanda, Angola. <br /><br />We were talking about how they have taken a community-driven approach to placemaking, involving locals in the design and construction process. Also, how they transformed public libraries under bridges into a vibrant community space, in order to create tactical urban interventions and aim to build sustainable projects.
