Including her mother suffering a stroke at age 54; the unthinkable occurrence of her sister being murdered in her own home; and the life-changing decision to become the legal guardian for her sister’s two young children which ultimately led her to become a foster advocate. All of these obstacles have shaped Andrea into the woman she is today. She believes that on the other side of adversity obstacles, there is personal resilience.
