[…] And he has this wonderful questionnaire that he's given to tens of thousands of young people between the ages of 18 and 30 from around the world. And one of the questions is, I feel like an adult. And then he gives the five-point scale. Hardly ever. Some of the time. Half of the time. Much of the time. Most of the time. And this is probably my favorite statistic in all of behavioral science. It's not until 26 and a half years old that half of his subjects reported feeling like an adult half of the time. That's such a great yardstick of where your kid should be no matter what. That's right. So this kid's got a lot of room to grow. […]
