Rio's Story
<p>The final story for Season 1 is Rio’s story. Rio tells us about her pain free homebirth and unfortunately how her immediate postpartum was sabotaged by impatient midwives. Rio had a lot of fear and traumatic stories around breastfeeding so when it was a struggle to latch and breastfeed she needed support from an IBCLC and nipple shields. Her story is ultimately triumphant and an incredible example of how a mother’s perseverance and community support can transform breastfeeding struggle into breastfeeding ease.</p> <p>We are always looking for women who want to share their breastfeeding stories. Jessyl's Story
<p>This week’s episode brings us Jessyl sharing the stories of free birthing 4 out of 5 children and breastfeeding all of them. This episode had a few technical difficulties in recording but the wealth of knowledge and dynamics in these stories should make up for it!
