3. MBR Acres: What is Animal Testing?
<p>Throughout this episode, we engage in open dialogue about the ethical considerations that arise in animal testing and the ongoing efforts to minimize animal suffering. We explore the advancements in alternative testing methods, cutting-edge technologies, and the quest for more accurate and ethical research models that can eventually replace or reduce the use of animals in experiments.</p><br><p><em>Hidden away in the idyllic Cambridgeshire countryside is what has been described as 'the gates to hell', otherwise known as MBR Acres. This factory farm breeds dogs, specifically Beagle puppies, on a mass scale. These dogs exist purely for animal testing.</em></p><br><p><em>But just how wide-scale is this government-approved and taxpayer-funded operation? I research this hidden and widely hidden world of animal testing, breeding, abuse, and occasionally blatant unlawful deception considered to be legal and compliant with government guidelines.
