In dieser Folge sprechen wir mit Max Valid – Tätowierer, Grafikdesigner und jemand, der seinen ganz eigenen Weg zwischen Kreativität, Handwerk und Beruf gefunden hat. Wir sprechen über seine Kindheit in einem kleinen Dorf in Friesland, die ersten Berührungspunkte mit Graffiti, den Weg ins Grafikdesign-Studium und darüber, warum Perfektion manchmal der größte Kreativitätskiller ist. Außerdem erzählt Max von seinem ungewöhnlichen Einstieg in die Tattoo-Welt: Als Ghost-Zeichner entwarf er Designs für ein Tattoo-Studio, lange bevor er selbst tätowierte. Es geht um Anti-Style, Fehler als Teil des kreativen Prozesses, das Loslassen von Kontrolle und die Frage, warum Tätowieren für ihn heute der Ort ist, an dem er sich am meisten wie er selbst fühlt. Eine Folge über Kreativität, Identität, Graffiti, Tattoos und den Mut, den eigenen Stil zu finden.
