Auslöser Audio 15: Clemens Meyer (Neiße Filmfestival)
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Viele Menschen, die an der sächsischen Filmlandschaft interessiert sind, haben die Besetzungsnachricht mit Spannung erwartet. Nun ist Clemens Meyer neuer Co-Leiter des <a href="http://neissefilmfestival.net/" type="link" id="http://neissefilmfestival.net/">Neiße Filmfestivals</a> und damit Nachfolger von Ola Stazel, die zum DOK Leipzig in die Position der Festivalleitung gewechselt ist. Der Film- und Kulturmanager bringt umfangreiche Erfahrung aus der internationalen Festivalarbeit mit: Er war unter anderem Co-Leiter des renommierten Studierendenfestivals Sehsüchte in Potsdam-Babelsberg, arbeitete im Umfeld internationaler Filmfestivals wie der Berlinale und Cannes und ist Gründer der Nachwuchsinitiative Encourage Film Talents. Seit Anfang des Jahres bildet Clemens Meyer gemeinsam mit Andreas Friedrich die neue Doppelspitze des jährlich im Dreiländereck Deutschland–Polen–Tschechien stattfindenden Festivals. Das Filmfestival gilt als eines der wichtigsten kulturellen Bindeglieder der Region und zeichnet sich durch seine dezentrale Struktur sowie durch einen familiären Charakter mit europäischem Anspruch aus. Auslöser Audio 14: Ola Staszel und Christoph Terhechte (DOK Leipzig)
<p>Ein Führungswechsel bei einem A-Festival ist nie eine Randnotiz – und schon gar nicht beim <a href="https://www.dok-leipzig.de/" type="link" id="https://www.dok-leipzig.de/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">DOK Leipzig</a>, einem der ältesten und renommiertesten Dokumentar- und Animationsfilmfestivals der Welt. Nach fünf intensiven Jahren übergibt Christoph Terhechte, der das Festival durch die Pandemie steuerte, neue Sektionen etablierte und den Animationsfilm in Leipzig neu positionierte, die Leitung aus gesundheitlichen Gründen. Seine Nachfolgerin wird Ola Staszel, bisherige Leiterin des <a href="https://www.neissefilmfestival.net/de/start" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Neiße Filmfestivals</a>, das seit jeher als grenzüberschreitendes Labor für internationale, insbesondere osteuropäische Perspektiven gilt.
