Improving assessment of functioning for all children: The new National Framework
<p>This episode introduces the National Framework for assessing children's functional strengths and support needs in Australia and how it can be used to improve policy and practice. </p><p>It is relevant for practitioners, parents and policy makers. </p><p></p><p>Presented by: </p><p>Prof David Trembath was co-chair of the team that developed the National Framework. With a background in speech pathology, he brings to his work over 25 years of clinical, clinical education, and clinical-research experience including co-leadership of the development and update of two National Clinical Guidelines.</p><p>Dr Rachelle Wicks is a neurodivergent Research Fellow, with a background in psychology and early childhood education and development. Rachelle was a core member of the team that developed the Framework, and is leading its cross-sector implementation in the community.</p><p></p>
