When it comes to raising daughters, we are really trying to raise our ideal selves but there’s a problem… we’re not perfect. So how exactly do we accomplish that when we’re well…a continual work in progress per se? In this episode Mandy & Evita discuss the self reflection this endeavor requires, the types of women who don’t fail, the feminine virtues we inherently have (and lack, let’s be honest) and lastly some EASY and practical tips on how to raise the daughters society needs. GK Chesterton said that our contribution as mothers is much greater than our vote and as Fulton Sheen stated “To a great extent the level of any civilization is the level of its womanhood.” So ladies, get a notebook, jot these points down and let’s level this place up!

As homemakers we have the opportunity to shape our children into the adults we want them to become. As GK Chesterton said, we as mothers have the power to make or break society byway of how we raise our sons. So how exactly should we approach this great responsibility? In todays episode Mandy & Evita discuss what masculinity is, the ONE thing that impedes boys from becoming men, the virtues we must cultivate in them, and as always PRACTICAL tips on how you can do this at home with your little ones TODAY. Think…how to raise a Midwest boy even if you live in the city! With laughs and wisdom this is an episode you simply cannot miss, society may very well depend on it!

Suffering can be a major stumbling block when it comes to faith. Often it is asked that if God were so loving and merciful, why does it even exist? Seeing pain and suffering in this light is opposite of what God intends. In this week’s episode Mandy & Evita discuss the two ways to approach pain & suffering. Rebellion and resignation are the two main avenues and Mandy & Evita guide you along the paths to both: our rebellious nature that leads to the pitfalls of despair and denial and the redemptive and hopeful aspects of resignation to God’s will. Also discussed are 5 practical steps on how to embrace suffering and make the most of your cross. Our prayers are with you, and we hope you enjoy the show!
