<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This month I am pleased to present a grooving deep house mix from a favourite of the DEPTH collective, Doen Jilak. Hailing from Málaga on Spain’s southern coast, Doen has been releasing his quirky vibrant style of deep tech house since early 2009. It was the year of 2013 when we discovered his music for the first time with a track called Morvis. Come 2021, I approached Doen for a guest mix selection which he was happy to be apart of. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Returning to the fold this month with another guest mix, i’d like to welcome long time friend and fellow DEPTH member, GREZ. Hailing from the lush tropical north of Cairns, GREZ over the years has been refining his sound, moving through various forms of house and techno. These days, his style has developed into the classic bush techno sound, which is high in energy, with dark and progressive qualities. This set was designed for the recent NXY Festival held in Far North Queensland, where the DEPTH residents opened the main stage on Friday night. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Well, after some time off the podcast series to focus on some serious studio time, I am pleased to back online with a beautiful mix from the next international guest, Subtronic.<br /> Subtronic is an artist based on South Africa’s eastern coast in Durban. His style is filled with blissful and organic house music. Flowing through emotion with sections of deeper qualities, this mix is another perfect addition to the series. When I first heard a mix from Sub I immediately followed his movements and listened to his DJ mixes carefully. His sets are filled with artists I adore and I knew I had to approach him for a guest mix.
