<p>Kevin Billingsley was arrested when he was 18 years old due to being on the scene of a homicide. While he was completely innocent of the crime and did not commit any wrongdoing, he was arrested and charged with multiple criminal charges, which led him to be wrongfully sentenced to life in prison. Kevin has been behind bars for 25 years for a crime that he did not commit. In this episode, we discuss Kevin&#39;s case with Sarah DeArmond, who is the founder of the nonprofit <a href="https://voicelessbehindbars.org/">Voiceless Behind Bars</a>, which works with legal systems to free the wrongfully accused. Sarah and her team are working closely with Kevin and his case and hope to see justice for him very soon. We also cover wrongful incarcerations in general and discuss the flaws of our criminal justice systems as it relates to a fair trial in this episode.</p>
