I Had Gastric Bypass Surgery!
I explain my initial decision making for weight loss surgery. Not an easy choice! I’ve struggled with weight for the last 20 years. I’ve worked out and even lost weight successfully however I tore my meniscus in both knees from a fall and couldn’t work out like I used to. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in late August 2020. The insulin I was put on made me gain more weight! I had to figure out how to stop this. I turned to Bariatric surgery, specifically Gastric Bypass or RNY. 10/27/20 was my surgery date. All went great! I’m happy with my choice but now it’s learning every day!!
