<p>This is a powerful episode starting the new year of 2020 and be off to a bang!</p> <p>Katherine Kendall is one of the survivors or sexual assault in the highly publicized Harvey Weinstein trial happening in Los Angeles right now. </p> <p>We talked about the future for women on the planet involving sexual abuse, boundary neglect, manipulation of power, taking over of another's energy and how this moment in time is HUGE because of the road it is paving for the rest of us.</p> <p>Katherine shared the importance of getting help from the right people in times of rape, abuse, confusion and shame. She shared that her self empowerment comes from sharing this experience with all these other survivors as a profound way to feel less alone.</p> <p>We also shared our own thoughts on how prevalent coercion into sex or sexual acts can be for women following a date and what the expectations have been for us to carry over the last two thousand years, including the witch trials, female genital mutilation, sex trafficking and under age marriage is on our planet. </p> <p>This is our time to rise as women and come together to re-write the future on our planet and how we hope it will look with more equality, more empowered women and more acceptance of all "grey area" abuse. </p> <p>You don't have to be drunk to have been raped. </p> <p>You don't have to have kicked, screamed, and scratched the pursuer to call it rape either.</p> <p>Find your voice and use it to stand up for your feelings because they will always guide you to the truth! </p> <p><br></p>
