So you throw them on the two list. Someone you know knows the entire fretboard. So perhaps you should know the entire fretboard. And another guitarist tells you that rhythm is the most important thing. And before long, your practice plan contains 15 different priorities. The problem isn't that any of those subjects aren't important. They obviously all are. The problem is trying to improve all of them at once. So when everything's a priority, nothing is a priority.
