Beyond The Noise is a podcast about growth, resilience, and the pursuit of a meaningful life.
Hosted by Tim and Luke, the show explores the stories, challenges, and lessons that shape who we become. Through honest conversations with guests from all walks of life, and the occasional deep dive between hosts, we unpack topics like purpose, ambition, mental health, relationships, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.
Whether we're talking with business owners, community leaders, athletes, parents, or everyday people with extraordinary stories, our goal is the same: to cut through the noise.
In this episode of Beyond The Noise, Luke and Tim sit down for an honest conversation about the uncertainty of life, the time we think we have, and how quickly things can change.
From grief and difficult decisions to hope, acceptance and the unexpected ways life unfolds, we explore what it means to appreciate what's in front of us while remaining open to everything still to come.
In this conversation, we talk about:
Why we always think there's more time
Grieving something before we've actually lost it
The difficult balance between hope and acceptance
Making decisions when there's no clear right answer
The people and moments we sometimes take for granted
The unexpected relationships and experiences that shape our lives
Why uncertainty can bring both heartbreak and incredible possibilities
A personal conversation about love, loss, connection and the things we never saw coming.

In this episode of Beyond The Noise, we sit down with Maddie, a mum of three who has spent the last 11 years in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
Maddie shares her experiences of childhood abuse, severe mental health struggles, abusive relationships, losing care of her two older children and the years of addiction that followed.
At 28, she made the decision to change her life. But getting clean was only the beginning.
We talk about the challenges she's faced since, the importance of family, rebuilding relationships with her children, and how she's now helping others through their own recovery.

Ep 38 – When Do You Actually Get To Be Happy?
In this episode of Beyond The Noise, Luke and Tim talk about ambition, contentment and why reaching the next goal doesn’t always bring the feeling we expected. Can you appreciate the life you already have and still want more, or does being content mean losing your edge?
In this conversation, we talk about:
– Moving the goalposts instead of celebrating our wins
– The fisherman and the businessman, and what each gets right
– Enjoying what we’re building instead of waiting until it’s finished
– What a genuinely good ordinary day looks like
– The pressure to reach our “potential” and knowing what actually matters
An honest conversation about wanting more without overlooking what’s already here, with a few tangents and some questionable dad jokes along the way.
