Episode 23: Sales is Serving-Stop Spending Other People's Money
What if sales in dentistry (and in general), isn't about convincing someone to buy...but giving them the opportunity to choose...
As dental and healthcare providers, most of us hate the idea of being "salesy". But the truth is-we make recommendations every single day. And every business on the planet is either selling a product or a service.
And sometimes, in an effort NOT to sell, we make the decision for someone before they ever get the chance to make it themselves.
"They'll never pay for that". "Insurance doesn't cover that". "That's probably too expensive for them".
But who are we to decide what someone else values-or what they're willing to invest in?
In this episode, we're talking about sales as service: communicating value, making recommendations with integrity, getting comfortable hearing "no", and learning to stop spending other people's money for them.
Whether we're working clinically chairside or expanding our careers outside the Operatory, this episode is bound to shift your perspective on sales and how we serve others.
See you inside!

Penni and Kelsey
