[…] But that's all those inflammatory pathways turning on this anabolic mechanism. And so I think we inherently know the benefits of controlled inflammatory stimulus for healing, for anabolic response, for tissue building. And that same response is really the core of regenerative medicine. And this has been really an important discussion around the world of PRP. So a lot of people know platelet-rich plasma, PRP. And I've heard this discussion for years now that they're trying to take leukocytes out of PRP so it's not inflammatory. So you can get this the benefit of it without the inflammation and it's really a misguided approach to prp and that you really need that and so when patients come in and we look at doing prp for them they now know and my you know my staff knows that people should expect a flare-up of pain and they almost need that and expect that at this point because you've got to turn on these immune mechanisms and if you don't turn them on PRP doesn't work. […]
