Een moment om even te pauzeren, tot rust te komen en je zorgen bij Hem neer te leggen.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Als kerk lezen we op dit moment twee teksten die de basis vormen voor onze visie. Eén daarvan staat in Mattheüs 11:28-30, waar Jezus zegt:<br /> "Kom naar Mij toe, als je moe bent en onder lasten gebukt gaat, en Ik zal je rust geven."</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Er zijn veel dingen die zwaar kunnen voelen: werk, gezin, verwachtingen, moeilijke keuzes, of strijd met ziekte, angst of depressie. Vaak proberen we dat zelf op te lossen, of we raken juist uitgeput en geven het op.</p> <p>Maar Jezus nodigt ons uit: kom bij Mij. Geef je lasten aan Mij en laat Mij met je meedragen. Hij gebruikt daarvoor het beeld van een juk: een balk waarmee een dier een last draagt. We dragen allemaal dingen in het leven. Jezus neemt die niet altijd weg, maar Hij zegt wel: "Mijn juk is licht." Met andere woorden: met Hem mogen we leren dragen op de juiste manier.</p>
