Si passa poi al filmone del momento, The Accountant 2: Ben Affleck che mena come un fabbro insieme al fratellone John Bernthal, in un tripudio di americanate anni ’80 degno di un pranzo della domenica di Blue Bloods. Su Netflix debutta Havoc di Gareth Evans, dopo secoli senza sparatorie vere: sangue a ettolitri, plausibilità lasciata a casa, ma divertimento a palate. Infine, spazio per la nuova stagione di Andor e il panico totale su come potrebbero ridurci 007. E no, tre ore di Mission Impossible non ce le meritavamo.

Poi cine amarcord con Corriere Diplomatico e a sorpresa si apre il cuore per The Accountant 2, sicari autistici e fratelli action, roba da menare seria. Tra i film usciti: I peccatori di Ryan Coogler (afro-blues-horror anni ’30), Drop (thriller da ristorante), Generazione romantica di Jia Zhang-ke (melanconia cinese d’autore), e il colpaccio: Queer di Guadagnino, Daniel Craig disperato e pistola in tasca nel Messico anni ’50 ricostruito a Cinecittà. Menzione anche per L’ultima isola, doc su un salvataggio a Lampedusa, e chiusura con Miles Davis rimasterizzato. Puntata free jazz.

Puntata delirio che parte con una teoria sulle frequenze disturbate da uno scammer nei dintorni di Radio Elettrica, prosegue con un’epopea vintage su Aeroporto Internazionale (capolavoro kitsch anni ’80 con Adolfo Celi e scenografie di cartapesta) e finisce tra i green screen orripilanti di Fiumicino finto. Poi si vola su cinema e dolori veri: Tu Quoque di Maurizio Battista è un film drammatico travestito da commedia, pubblico in lacrime e applausi sentiti, ma il film è brutto. Malissimo anche Minecraft (Jason Momoa, Mara Maionchi cattiva), mentre deludono The Last Showgirl con Pamela Anderson e l'ennesimo film da regista di Mastandrea. Si salvano solo The Shrouds, nuovo body horror elegantemente malato di Cronenberg, e la sorpresa italiana La vita da grandi. In mezzo pure un trailer di Una pallottola spuntata remake con Liam Neeson che — sorpresa — fa ridere. Finale tra nostalgia, Pet Shop Boys e riabilitazioni critiche. Puntatona.
