[…] Community organising looks really different across the world, but one of the founding stories, particularly popular in the United States, is with a guy called Saul Alinsky who started that tradition in Chicago. And it's only one tradition of many traditions of organising, but certainly the work of Alinsky and the organisation that he set up, the Industrial Ares Foundation, have been really important to me.
