<p>«Ոդիսականը» հին հունական էպիկական պոեմ է, որը վերագրվում է կույր բանաստեղծ Հոմերոսին։ Այն պատմում է Իթակեի արքա Ոդիսևսի արկածներով լի և վտանգավոր ճանապարհորդության մասին՝ Տրոյական պատերազմի ավարտից հետո տուն վերադառնալիս: Տասը տարի տևած այս ոդիսականի ընթացքում հերոսը բախվում է դաժան հրեշների, կախարդների և աստվածների բարկությանը, մինչդեռ նրա հավատարիմ կինը՝ Պենելոպեն, և որդին՝ Տելեմաքոսը, ստիպված են լինում պայքարել իրենց պալատը զավթած փեսացուների դեմ:</p><p>Պոեմը համարվում է համաշխարհային գրականության գլուխգործոցներից մեկը, որն արտացոլում է մարդկային կամքի ուժը, հնարամտությունն ու հավատարմությունը: Այն ոչ միայն հնագույն դիցաբանական պատմություն է, այլև խորհրդանշական պատկեր այն մասին, թե ինչպես է մարդը հաղթահարում կյանքի դժվարությունները՝ իր գլխավոր նպատակին հասնելու համար: «Ոդիսական» բառը մինչ օրս օգտագործվում է բնորոշելու համար ցանկացած երկարատև, իրադարձություններով հարուստ և փորձություններով լի ճանապարհորդություն։</p><p><br></p><p>The Odyssey is an ancient Greek epic poem attributed to the blind poet Homer. It narrates the perilous and adventure-filled journey of Odysseus, King of Ithaca, as he strives to return home after the fall of Troy. During this ten-year voyage, the hero encounters ferocious monsters, powerful sorceresses, and the wrath of the gods, while his faithful wife, Penelope, and son, Telemachus, are forced to deal with treacherous suitors trying to seize his kingdom.</p><p><br></p><p>The poem is widely regarded as one of the masterpieces of world literature, reflecting the power of human will, ingenuity, and loyalty. It is not only an ancient mythological tale but also a symbolic representation of how humans overcome life's hardships to reach their ultimate destination. To this day, the word "odyssey" is used globally to describe any long, eventful, and challenging journey.</p>

<p><strong>Vahan Teryan (1885–1920)</strong> was one of Armenia's greatest lyric poets and a major figure in modern Armenian literature. Born in the village of Gandza (now in Georgia), he studied in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, where he developed his literary talent and became involved in political and cultural activities. His first poetry collection, Twilight Dreams, brought him widespread recognition for its emotional depth and musical language. Teryan's poetry often explores themes of love, nature, melancholy, autumn, and the Armenian homeland. In addition to writing poetry, he translated works from several European languages and played an active role in public life. He died of tuberculosis at the age of 34, but his poems remain among the most beloved works in Armenian literature.</p><p><br></p><p>Վահան Տերյանի <strong>«Հոգևոր Հայաստան»</strong> հոդվածը (1914 թ.) կոչ է հայ ժողովրդին՝ ազգային վերածնունդը սկսելու ոչ թե միայն հայրենիքի ազատագրման պայքարից, այլ առաջին հերթին հոգևոր և մշակութային ինքնազարգացումից։ Տերյանը նշում է, որ ուժեղ պետություն և կայուն ապագա հնարավոր է կառուցել միայն այն դեպքում, երբ ժողովուրդն ունենա ամուր հավատ, կրթություն, ազգային գիտակցություն և միասնականություն։ Նրա կարծիքով, «նյութական Հայաստանը» կարող է գոյատևել միայն այն դեպքում, եթե նախ ստեղծվի «Հոգևոր Հայաստանը»՝ հիմնված բարոյական արժեքների, մշակույթի և ազգային ոգու վրա։ Այս հոդվածը համարվում է Տերյանի կարևորագույն հրապարակախոսական գործերից մեկը և այսօր էլ շարունակում է պահպանել իր արդիականությունը։</p>
